Underground Utility Locator – Vannguard Utility Partners, Inc. Salary: $21.00 per hour Location: Multiple locations (Denver, Thornton, CO area) - Outdoor work Job Type: Full-time This position involves working outdoors to locate underground cables, pipes and other utilities to prevent damages and ensure safety within the excavation, landscaping and construction community. The role includes driving a company vehicle to job sites, using computer utility maps and locating equipment, and communicating findings to excavation personnel and authorities. A commitment to safety, the ability to work independently, and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities Drive a company vehicle from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocations. Utilize mapping tools and locating equipment to locate underground utilities (electric, gas, telephone, and other lines). Indicate utility locations using paint and flags and communicate information to excavation personnel or authorities. Respond to after-hours emergency call-outs according to the rotation schedule.
