A school district just outside a major southern Washington city is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support an elementary self-contained Life Skills classroom for the 2025-2026 school year.
Position Details:
Dates: 9/3/2025 6/10/2026
Full-Time: 37.5 hours/week (any hours over 7.5/day must be pre-approved)
Onsite only
Caseload: 1015 students (currently 12), including students with Autism
Setting: SELF (Life Skills) classroom
Requirements:
Active WA Special Education Licensure/Certification
Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI
Prior experience in self-contained or life skills classrooms preferred
Pay Rate: $5055/hour, depending on experience.
