Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Land Survey Technician in Waldorf, MD.
Responsibilities: - Preparing various survey plan documents (i.e. topographic mapping, boundary and ALTA surveys, as-built surveys, platting, construction layouts, metes and bounds descriptions, easements exhibits and legal descriptions).
- Also, may be responsible for communicating with clients, local and municipal authorities.
Requirements - 5+ years progressive experience in survey coordination for residential/commercial development preferred.
- Experience in surveying in Maryland preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in CADD drafting is required; Knowledge of MicroStation or Bentley CADD software is preferred.
- General knowledge of current public agency codes, processes, and standards
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
- Must have ability to work in a team environment.
- Registered Land Surveyor in the State of Maryland preferred, but not required
