As an Online Foreign Language Instructor for our innovative government programs the perfect candidate will be responsible for teaching Japanese language courses online to highly motivated students for a set number of weeks (2, 9, 12, 14, etc.).

Requirements:  

• American citizen
• At least 2 years of foreign language teaching experience supporting various Government Services sectors, delivered in a virtual setting.
• Educated native speaker of the target language or have an educated near-native foreign language capability in speaking, listening and reading (language rating of ILR level 3/3/3).
• Experience in creating energetic blended learning lessons and the ability to tailor existing materials to fit the customer's needs and expectations.
• Understanding of the cultural, social, and political environment of the target language.

Preferred Experience:

• Master's Degree in the target language, education or a related field
