POSITION TYPE: IMPLANT TECHNICIAN

DEPARTMENT: Fixed

LOCATION: Suburb of Baltimore, MD

Pay: $28 -$34 + benefits.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Objectives of this Role

• Make and repair dental implants with an emphasis on quality, margins, consistent contacts, occlusions, and custom shades according to the Rx from the dentist
• Review each Rx in detail; inspect all work entering and leaving the lab to ensure all quality standards and client requests are being met
• Communicate daily with department manager about any defects or issues related to quality specifications and/or internal and external client requests or requirements

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Meet daily unit target
• Verify completion and accuracy of work
• Work closely with internal clients to understand their requirements, and ensure that all requirements are being met
• Die Prep – prepare die for wax up, paint, and block out utilizing PTC methods, company quality standards, and work instructions
• Stain & Glaze – add stain and glaze to all ceramic crowns using PTC methods 
• Contour – final adjustment and contour ceramic crowns; add anatomy as needed, prepare porcelain for final stain and glaze using PTC methods

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in a similar field
• Knowledge of dental anatomy 
• Excellent hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PTC methods and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining quality work
