PFCS is seeking an experienced Fire Investigator in the greater San Diego area. This is a remote, Independent Contractor role; however, we are open to discussing full-time employment with the right candidate(s). Intro / Job Brief The role of a Fire Investigator is to examine the physical characteristics of a fire scene, interview witnesses, and identify and collect physical evidence from the scene in order to ultimately establish the origin and cause. Investigators will partner with members of the Project and Technical teams to prepare and present an investigation report to our client. The right candidate for this position will demonstrate an aptitude in understanding, summarizing, and explaining complex fire scenes. This position reports to the Lead Fire Investigator.
