My father suffers from Alzheimer's disease and my mother has limited mobility. These ailments introduce challenges to their day-to-day living. I am originally form Philadelphia but now live in New York, so I am searching for a senior aide who has regular access to a passenger car that can help them run every day errands. Duties would include: Driving to/from doctor appointments etc Accompanying or supervising one adult in a store / public area so that the other may shop or use the restroom etc. Helping run errands: - grocery and retail stores - bank - utilities - post office - pharmacy Assistance with: - Bringing bags and packages into the house - Printing and returning items to Post Office - Getting in and out of places being visited, up steps, etc. - Technical assistance with phones and TV, items around the house Work would amount to about 8 hours a week, usually Tuesdays 1-5pm and Fridays 11am-3pm, but this schedule will be flexible based on the constraints of doctor's appointments, personal schedules, etc as well as your availability. Looking to start after the holidays. Thank you.
