Opal Lens Photography & Opal Events is seeking a talented Marketing Intern to join our team in Greater Houston. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the creative industry, particularly in photography and event planning, while helping us grow our brand and digital presence.

Responsibilities :

• Develop creative captions and hashtags tailored to our photography and event content.
• Assist in managing social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), including content planning and scheduling.
• Conduct trend research and identify popular content opportunities.
• Support the implementation of marketing campaigns for upcoming events and special promotions.
• Analyze social media performance and suggest strategies for improving engagement.
• Contribute ideas to enhance client interactions through various digital channels.

Qualifications :

• Strong communication skills and ability to craft engaging written content.
• Experience or coursework in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Familiarity with social media trends and platforms (particularly Instagram & TikTok).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.

This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build their marketing experience in a creative, fast-paced environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the team and contribute to real-world projects, with the potential for a professional reference and mentorship upon successful completion.

Commitment:

• Minimum of 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.
• Hybrid/remote work available.

Social Media Content Creator

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute engaging content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Create high-quality photos, videos, and graphics to showcase our photography and event services.
• Collaborate with our team to create cohesive and visually stunning content aligned with our brand identity.
• Manage and update social media accounts to maintain a consistent and dynamic online presence.
• Engage with followers and help grow our online community through creative campaigns and content.
• Assist with brainstorming and producing content for client events, photoshoots, and promotions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience creating engaging social media content (portfolio or samples required).
• Strong knowledge of social media trends, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and within a team.
• Experience in photography or videography is a plus, but not required.
